Dedicated Educators
We understand the importance of getting a jump start on education at an early age. We are a New York State Licensed daycare center located in Glenville. All of our childcare lead teachers are certified teachers with either a CDA teaching certificate, or a degree in education. We are more than a daycare, we are a preschool teaching around weekly themes based around the NYS common core standards.
Learning
Here at Smart Strides in Scotia Glenville NY, we are dedicated to creating a safe and inviting atmosphere, where your child is free to explore and play in their childcare classroom. Learning is easily achieved while in this structured and engaging environment which is designed to entice and teach naturally through the joy of play. In our daycare, your child will quickly develop self-esteem, confidence, and the social skills needed to have a bright and successful future. While having fun, your child will be gaining academic skills through his/her daily lessons and structured play. Each classroom also participates in a weekly theme in which daily preschool lessons and art are focused to explore different interests of each child.
Parent Relationships
Your needs and your child's needs are our top priority. We work closely with parents and our community to provide high-quality childcare and preschool education.
A comfortable relationship built on trust and communication is a must and is easily developed here at Smart Strides Childcare! Parents are welcome to come into the daycare anytime to visit, participate, or simply discuss the welfare of their child.
